Holistic Nutritional Therapy
Holistic Nutritional Therapy uses an evidence-based approach to health - evaluating the body as a whole interconnected unit by considering the physical, mental and social well-being of an individual. The ultimate goal is to bring the body back into balance. It uses food, lifestyle modifications and supportive supplementation to begin the journey toward optimal health. While these methods cannot be used to diagnose or treat any medical condition, they can be used to support the body’s innate healing processes. This approach requires one to take personal responsibility for their own health.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to addressing various imbalances, and the feeling of un-well. Every person is biochemically different and their body is unique in how it expresses a particular condition and how it responds to support for that condition. Because of this, the therapeutic modifications I recommend are individually formulated.
Food Modifications
We’ll discover which foods are right for your body and which ones may not be. You’ll learn how to choose fresh, wholesome foods and how to prepare them in delicious and nourishing ways.
Certain foods will be strategically included or excluded in order to support your specific needs along the way. When challenges arise we’ll work together to uncover what is holding you back and what will help you overcome it.
Improving health involves more than just WHAT we eat or don’t eat. It’s also about HOW and WHERE and WHY we’re eating or not. Your relationship with food could be a major contributor to how you’re feeling. Your thoughts, your posture, your environment… We will dive in to these habits and see how modifications may benefit your body.
